Halumo
Delete your account
Last updated: August 7, 2026
Before you start
A Halumo account exists for one reason: AI edits. Browsing, editing, saving, and exporting your photographs never require one. Deleting your account leaves the app fully usable for everything except AI. You can delete the account outright inside the app, or, if you no longer have Halumo installed, request deletion by email.
In the app
This is the fastest route and it completes immediately. On Android and iPhone, open Settings from the library, then Account, then Delete account. On macOS and Windows, open Settings → Account and use Delete account there. You will be asked to confirm; deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Without the app
If you no longer have Halumo installed, you can request deletion by email instead. Write to halumo.photos@gmail.com from the email address of the sign-in identity you used — the Apple, Google, or Microsoft account you signed in with — saying that you want your Halumo account deleted. Sending from that address is how the request is verified, so a request sent from any other address cannot remove someone else's account. Requests are completed within 30 days.
What deletion removes
Your Halumo account record, the link to the sign-in provider identity behind it, and the AI-usage and allowance records associated with that account. Removal is immediate and complete; there is no recovery window and no retained copy, and a later sign-in with the same provider identity creates a new account with a fresh allowance rather than restoring the old one.
What deletion does not remove
Nothing on your own devices. Your photographs, edits, presets, sidecars, and exports stay exactly where they are, because Halumo never uploaded them — the editor works locally and Halumo is not a cloud photo library. Deleting your account does not delete photos from your phone, your Mac, your PC, or your photo library. It also has no effect on the Apple, Google, or Microsoft account you signed in with; to remove Halumo's access there, use that provider's own connected-apps settings. If you signed in with Apple, that is Apple Account settings → Sign in with Apple, where Halumo may still be listed after the account itself is gone.
